What is the process for a Native Restoration Planting Project?

Native planting projects can be time consuming and expensive, especially if not managed correctly. Utilise the experienced planting team at Outright Property Services to plan, implement and support with large scale, native restoration planting and revegetation projects on your land.

Starting with site inspections, native plant selections and quantity scoping, our team then plants, sprays and maintains your property based on plant requirements, terrain, conditions and seasonality.

As experienced project managers, we take care of everything for you from planning through to maintenance, saving your time and taking the hassle out of organising, implementing and maintaining your planting.

Our Process

  • Starting with a free site consultation, we will identify and inspect the proposed restoration sites and review the planting requirements. We review the current condition and location of the site, consider the history of the past and present vegetation, scope the quantity of plants for the site and make recommendations for the plant selections. At this stage we will also discuss the budget and timeline for the project.

  • This stage involves preparing the site for planting. At this stage we review the fencing and access, determine equipment and safety requirements, order plants and spot spray as required.

  • The team works through the planting process, making sure all plants are put in place based on the species requirements. The planting will take place based on seasonality, agreed timelines and weather restrictions. The team will plant based on daily quotas, laid out as determined during the planning stage.

  • We install weed mats and plant guards to protect plants whilst they establish. We undertake a release spray once planting is complete and will support with maintenance spraying as required on a seasonal or yearly basis.
